Compare the output that counts.
Agree on acceptance criteria before the run. Record the same measures when comparing machines. This worksheet is a planning aid; use approved procedures and machine-specific documentation for operation.
1. Agree on the product
Record the approved checks and tolerances for fill weight, visible damage, closure, finished length and package fit. Identify who accepts the sample. Evaluate draw or burn separately if required; a photo or animation does not validate performance.
2. Observe and count
| Measure | Recorded result | Notes / reason / included scope |
|---|---|---|
| Elapsed run time / actual productive time | ||
| Operators / other staff involved | ||
| Total produced / accepted pieces | ||
| Rejected pieces by reason | ||
| Interventions / replenishment time | ||
| Cleaning / format change time | ||
| Packaging rate / completed packs |
Accepted output per elapsed minute = accepted pieces ÷ elapsed minutes. Saleable yield = accepted pieces ÷ total produced × 100. Keep definitions and the sample together. If no pieces are produced, yield is not defined.
3. Confirm before buying
- Tooling and input material fit; exact configuration and included equipment.
- Utilities, footprint, downstream handoffs and packaging capacity.
- Training, applicable manuals, spare parts, warranty and service scope.
- Sample record, unresolved items and the person responsible for follow-up.
Main Apollo: standard ground/milled flower; dry kief and dry hash are the only compatible infusion types. No distillate, resin-infused material or extremely sticky flower. OilCoat and KiefCoat are separate downstream machines. Confirm the proposed application with the team. Contact: sales@leafypack.com.
